Ingredients (makes 4)#
Dough#
- 500g White Flour
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Yeast
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
- 2 tsp Sugar/Honey
- 300ml Warm Water
Sauce#
1 clove Garlic
400g Plum Tomatoes
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Sugar

Actually Making it#
Step 1: Make Dough#
- Put Flour, Salt & yeast into bowl & combine
- Spoon the Olive Oil & Honey/Sugar into measuring job and top up with water (to just above 300ml mark). Stir well
- Pour oily water into bowl a little at a time, combine with hands into soft, sticky dough. Add flour if too sticky, water if not sticking
- Flour work surface and knead for at-least 10 mins
- Shape into neat ball, put back into bowl and cover. Place somewhere warm.
- Wait for 2 hours
Step 2: Make the Sauce#
- Peel garlic clove, Place on chopping board and smash into paste
- Place garlic in sauce pan with the olive oil. Add the tin of tomatoes
- Break up the tomatoes with a wooden spoon
- Turn heat to medium and boil. Stiring every so often. Boil for 5 - 10mins until thick
Step 3: Combine#
- Turn oven onto hottest setting to heat
- Take dough out of bowl. Divide into 4
- Sprinkle flour onto work surface
- Shape dough piece into rough circle and repeat for other 3 pieces
- Remove hot baking trays from oven, place circles onto tray. and apply about a quarter of the sauce leaving a border
- Apply ingredients & oregano & olive oil
- Bake for 8 - 10 mins
- Eat
